Phd Studentships Process Engineer

Sawgrass Technologies is a high-tech ink manufacturer located in South Carolina, US, with a UK office based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Sawgrass Europe is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Process Engineer to join our Consumer Division Team. The position requires working knowledge of small format inkjet printers, RIP software and colour management. The ideal candidate should have strong project management experience, work independently, be able to manage several projects simultaneously and effectively communicate directly with customers, business partners and internal personnel in a professional manner.

They should be able to express complex technical information in an easy to understand manner to other personnel and senior management. This person will work with global resources to manage the development and launch of new products.

Preferred Experience:

Digital Printing Hardware Colour Management & Profiling Knowledge Ability to Work in a Fast Paced Product Development Environment Able to Provide Training to Production and Technical Support Personnel Define & Create Production Quality Control Procedures Whole Product Solution Testing Excellent Communication Skills Self Directed & Motivated Team Player with a Strong Desire to Succeed Quality & Deadline Driven

Some travel required. Pay commensurate with experience.
